Well here goes nothing. An introduction to me. My name is Dave and I live in the Central Belt of Scotland with my wife, three kids and Max the dog.

To date I’ve climbed 56 of the 282 Munro’s, a few tops and explored some lower level hills and areas in Scotland. I’ve climbed in Wales, The Lake District, Peak District and Yorkshire Dales, completing the Yorkshire 3 peaks and National 3 Peaks 24 hours challenge in 2009. In all, I’ve been hillwalking and hiking since about 2005 on and off as life allows.

My favourite walks to date have been the Aonach Eagach ridge in Glen Coe and the Ring of Steall in the Mamores. Big mountains, sharp ridgelines and dramatic scenery – can’t beat it.

I’ve got a few ideas on what I want to do with this site, but I’m always keen to hear other people’s thoughts and ideas. If there is something you would like to see me do, or include on the site, please drop me an email and let me know.

I will sometimes post or use affiliate links through my posts and content. These are there to help earn a small commission on the products I recommend at no extra cost to the user. I will always tell you if that is the case with any links or content that I produce or products that I promote.
